Summary:

A highly successful and driven agency, with a desire to promote the sustainable development of the Healthcare Services industry, is seeking an experienced Account Director to join its ambitiously growing agency. With the support of a wider network this agency can offer fully integrated campaigns and meet the varying needs of its clients in a demanding and competitive field. Idea l candidates will have several years experience working at this level and a passion to work as part of a globally recognised team.

Key responsibilities:

Become a key player in new business pitches, finding leads and identifying potential new clients in complementary areas of business. Create proposals or respond to RFIs for new business prospects.

Conduct market/competitor research for new business pitches/proposals.Be able to grasp business issues outside of own area of expertise

Provide team with guidance and ideas by giving innovative, creative solutions to problems.Be available to offer support.

Retention management endeavour to retain your staff by providing them with guidance and support and ensure that their training needs are met to ensure they can carry out their work to a high standard

Provide strategic counsel to clients where possible, be ing able to assess problems and define logical and effective solutions for clients acting as a true consultant on marketing issues to the client.

Using technology for the purpose of providing a leading edge, professional and quality PR programmes.

Analysis and assimilation of current affairs staying one step ahead of clients in terms of changes and development in the industry and world affairs generally.

Key skills:

Several years experience working within an agency at Account Director level.

Strong biomedical science degree background.

Excellent project management experience with proven success at driving new business development.

Faultless communication skills and an ability to mentor and motivate team members.
