Accounts Administrator

This is a part-time role (3days a week) and the salary will be 20,000 to 25,000 prorata depending on experience.
Summary Responsibilities of Accounts Administrator:
To manage and administer the finance processesTo ensure data is available and relevant reports are up-to-dateTo manage and chase aged debtFunctional Responsibilities of Accounts Administrator:
Finance
Managing vendor and subcontractors invoices and tracking expenditure.Managing and administering month-end including the analysis, production and recording of all client invoicingDevelopment and management of a check and balance process to ensure all assignments are invoiced correctlyManaging and administering the PO processEnsure all finance data for management reports is available and up to dateHelping to administer and manage the expenses process and ensure staff complianceSupport the office manager with control and negotiation of office costsBankingResponsibility for chasing aged debt within the UK and ensuring there is no aged debt in the UK over 60 days without an exception reportAdministrative Support for subcontractors
Liaising with contractors and associate staffTimesheet management Invoice Management Contract ManagementProvide cover for holidays and absence of the Office Manager to ensure that the office environment is appropriate to support the business function
Skills and Experience of Accounts Administrator:
Excellent administration and organisational skillsAbility to communicate with c olleagues and customers at all levelsGood verbal and written communication skills Good appreciation of business workflowPrevious experience working in a finance administrative positionBasic knowledge of accounting practicesExcellent use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint productsCharacteristics of Accounts Administrator:

Experience in a similar roleSolid academic backgroundA key requirement of this role is flexibility. The role will be required to work the first three working days of every month to complete month end and invoicing activities.
