Cisco Engineer - 6 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

*Providing lead engineering excellence and skills throughout all Rainbow project phases (requirements gathering, design, procurement, implementation and hand-over to operations) of a given project while complying with ENGINEERING standard engineering practices and project management processes.
*Working closely with clients (TI Country Heads or TI project managers) to ensure successful delivery of the Rainbow program
*Co-ordinating and managing integration partners when required for physical commissioning and general installation of equipment.
*Hand over new implementations and designs to the Global Networ k Control Centre (GNCC) & Voice Operational Support teams for integration to the Customer group monitoring and support model.
*Fully complying with all security policies, engineering standards, project management and purchasing processes.
*Reporting to a team leader
Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience:

(What knowledge or experience of the role or the industry does the individual need, e.g. relevant work experience, industry and/or product knowledge)

*Detailed technical knowledge of the Cisco ICM environment including CVP, to include good experience of solution design and system configuration.
*Detailed technical knowledge of Avaya Voice Portal and ACD, Realsoft UCTI, ACME Session Border Controllers, Cisco voice gateways, Cisco Gatekeeper and Toll Bypass.
*Ability to undertake all aspects of design, configuration and implementation guidance associated with business projects that include ICM routing/CTI toolbar integrated in an Avaya IVR and ACD environment.
*Detailed knowledge of QoS and Voice over IP (Gateways & Gatekeepers)

The following skills would be a bonus

*Experience of having responsibility for delivering complex IPT solutions involving Cisco and Avaya solution sets.
*Good working knowledge of IP addressing and Access Control Lists.
*Experience in call traffic sizing and dimensioning including queuing theory, erlang traffic calculation
*Knowledge of NICE and/or Cybertech voice Recording systems
*Working knowledge of virtualisation technologies including VMWARE
*Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server Platforms


Qualifications:

*Preferably educated to degree level in ElectricalElectronics or Computer Engineering
*CCNP, CCIP, CCVP or CCIE
*Equivalent experience at the se levels.
