Incomes Officer

Avoiding repossessions and sustaining tenancies whilst driving down rent arrears is the key to ensuring we maximise income and that is the challenge that our new Incomes Officer awaits you here. Working with tenants and other departments to prevent rent arrears debts from accruing. The successful candidate will also help to arrange welfare benefit advice/debt counselling services where needed and, to set up repayment agreements. This role will also at times require taking liaison with local authority housing benefit (HB) department s, and at time legal action, with attendance to the County Court where necessary.

With a part qualification or proven experience in housing (including incomes) or finance (including collections), the successful candidate will have a good level of technical awareness, including ideally landlord/tenant legislation, but principally to do with collections procedures/legal. With excellent communication skills to work with tenants, management, staff and other stakeholders to high levels of satisfaction, our new Incomes Officer will help the Family Mosaic Group to provide a high level of customer service to our customers
