We are expanding our Operations team and are looking for a Junior Production Engineer to support all areas of supply chain including procurement, production, shipping and quality. Its likely you will be spending up to 25 of the time overseas.

Responsibilities will include:

NPI Support of pilot builds and new product introductions at external overseas manufacturing sites Production - Material shortage and Bill of Materials management, technical resource on cost reduction initiatives, Production technical support and issue resolution for all areas of electro-mechan ical products, management of engineering change control process, Management of prototype volume builds Supply Chain Auditing of potential and current suppliers. Management of returns processing Process Support of supply chain and quality systems policing use within organisation Qualiity Working with suppliers to ensure quality targets are met and that any issues are resolved effectively

Knowledge in four or more of following areas is required:

New product introduction projects PCBA Production Manufacturing processes Engineering control and BOM management Engineering development processes Continuous improvement programs Electronics Material Science Production test

You will also have:

Minimum HNC with experience or Degree in a relevant subject

You should also be:

Self-starting Able to work independently
