5 years of development and lead experience, highly skilled with coding in PHP

My Client is a new and innovative digital video company which simplifies the business of distributing, marketing and monetizing online video content. Rapid expansion over the last twelve months has seen a client portfolio include such names as Facebook, MSN, AOL, the Guardian, and thousands of online publish ers that distribute video content in over 100 countries. They are looking for a number of differentLead Developers andTechnical Architects whowill own the architecture, development and roadmap for one of the core sub-systems of the company's platform.Youwill work closely with the CTO, the local development teams, and with the Companys product and operations teams worldwide. The right candidate must have;

5+ years of development experience

3+ years development lead experience

Be able to code at an expert level using PHP.

Experience in developing frameworks for embedded devices using Javascript, HTML, C (Objective/Embedded), Flash and Java

Should have full lifecycle experience,

Must have built video consumption applications with wide-scale deployment for at least the d esktop and mobile environments.

Must have deep knowledge of third-party video players and their architecture (YouTube, Brightcove, Ooyala, Metacafe, OSMF, JWPlayer, Flowplayer)

Must have built video applications using plugins/adaptor based architecture for deep and varied integration

Must have knowledge of live-streaming workflows

Strong understanding and experience with media servers

Understanding of interactive video applications and integration with such services.

Knowledge of IPTV and VOD industry trends to create future proof APIs

Experience with enabling technologies such as Linux, application servers, various database technologies (MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server), PHP, and Java. This must be practical and demonstrable via exist ing commercial deployments.

Knowledge of embedded client development in the CPE device space
