MARKETING EXECUTIVE
One of the markets leading tour operators is currently looking for a Marketing Executive to join their dynamic team in their London office. The Marketing executive will be responsible to assist in the delivery of the departments marketing objectives, using the full range of marketing techniques across B2C and B2B channels to market (direct and trade). These objectives include increasing customer acquisition and retention whilst maintaining a focus on cost efficiency. You also will be responsible to support the Head of Marketing with responding to the commercial needs of the business, both strategic planned ahead and short-term tactical activities as well as be the first point of contact for all marketing enquiries and sign-off in the absence of the Departmental Head. As the Marketing Executive you will be working with internal design teams and manage a design freelancer to brief and produce the creative advertising plan and sign-off on all national press, consumer magazines, bridal magazines, remnant and other consumer press advertising on time and correct to title. You will also be working with the media agency to keep abreast of current media plans and media movements and save all media plans to file and able to work with the media agency to sign-off on all invoices in a timely and correct manner and provide these for sign-off as well as able to work with external parties to brief, create and signoff on all advertorials for all press titles, particu larly for bridal titles. You also will be required to work with Axciom to develop the segmentation function and provide support to the department and the business for all related CRM and customer profiling enquiries. The successful Marketing Executive will be required to have good communication skills, strong copywriting skills, ability to project manage and multi task. You also will be required to have at least 3 years experience of retail and consumer marketing as well as experience and understanding of customer data, direct and trade marketing creative, print production and fulfilment. The successful candidate is required to have previous experience in travel industry and direct marketing. You need to be self-starter with the ambition to progress within marketing and develop the role, able to work well under pressure and is able to turn around activity within tight deadlines as well as creative, articulate and numeric with a good eye for detail.
