As one of the leading Natural Stone manufacturers and suppliers, our client offers their customers a wide choice of the highest quality marble, granite and limestone product and service for both the interior and the exterior of the house. They are looking to expand their fast-growing and long established company, and as such, an opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join their team.

Our client seeks a motivated professional with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience of managing the sourcing, manufacturing and installation of high quality interior stone projects to the relevant British Standards and Best Practice. The candidate should have good knowledge of the interior design aspects and construction processes. The candidate must work well within the team and remain totally focused under pressure running multiple sites.

Duties:

As a contracts manager, you will be tasked with effectively managing the projects and promoting the companys range of services with full commitment to timely delivery and client satisfaction.You will manage, plan and coordinate the projects from procurement to manufacture to installation. Aftercare is another promise you will be tasked to deliver. You will be required to maintain the QA/QC procedures and records.Working hours: Monday Friday 7.30am 4.30pm

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Proven experience in managing projects of the highest quality in terms product and serviceSound Knowledge of materials types and relevant issues in material sourcing and usageAdvanced project management and general Organisational skillsProven record in Quality control.Committed to best practices in regards to Health and SafetyGood interpersonal skillsTechnical knowledge of materials and fixing methods to best practices and BS StandardsComputer competency in Excel and preferably in AutoCADUnderstanding and interpreting architectural drawingsMathematically competentAs a Projects/Contracts manager, you need to have great communication skills and an excellent attention to detail. Focused, you must possess plenty of common sense and the ability to get things done.A degree in Engineering, building, interior design, QS or a related field would be desirable to your application, but this is by no means essential.Project Manag ement, MS projects.
