Network Security 3rd Line Support Analyst - Kent

I am currently working with a leading professional services organisation who are looking for a SOC 3rd Line Specialist to join their expanding team.

The nature of the role will be to provide technical support on all security issues. You will work with support staff and vendors as a result so excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are a must. You will be responsible for supporting both new and existi ng products.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Investigating and resolving incidents and changes within the Operational environment.
- Provide technical advisory services supporting the new Security service. Working with customer and account teams to capture technical data requirements.
- Produce policies on all security devices to allow implementation of customer projects.
- Test new services.

Potential candidates will have the following skills/background:

- A strong and proven background in Cisco technologies (routers, switches etc.) and supporting these technologies.
- Proven experience with Network security issues and Checkpoint firewalls.
- A knowledge of Internet working and IP skills.
- Experience with various Vendor security technologies - eg - Checkpoint, Juniper etc.

It will also be advantageous to have any of the following (although not essential) -

- A form al Cisco or Security certification, CCSP, CCSA, CISSP etc.
- A background in data communications

You must meet the minimum criteria to gain Security Clearance for this position.
