Part Time - Work Experience Placement Manager

Salary c.30-35kpa (full-time)/ pro rata 18-21kpa (3 days)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with at least five years previous relevant experience to join our Education Development team on a part time basis. You will be liaising with schools and CISIs m embership firms to run our scheme offering Industry work experience opportunities for students aged 16-18 years old.This is a client facing role.

You will be responsible for:

Establishing the scheme offering Industry work experience opportunities

Liaising with schools which deliver CISI qualifications, and membership firms to ensure that work experience opportunities are offered to students from these schools. This will include contact via telephone, emails and visits.

Undertaking research, sourcing information and regularly reporting to the Educational Trust, as well as attending the meetings

Supporting the Head of Education Development to ensure that all projects run smoothly

The successful person must have:

Experience of dealing with employers at a senior level and/or previous relevant experience

IT skills word, excel and powerpoint

Excellent oral communication, organisation and planning skills

Experience of working to deadlines and meeting them

Willingness to work with colleagues from other departments and engage positively with stakeholders from schools and membership firms

It would also be an advantage if you have experience of:

Working on projects

Undertaking research

Experience of working in an education related field or the financial services industry

In order to have the breadth and depth of experience to undertake this role you will probably have at least five years' relevant expe rience.

This is a part time role and you will be required to work three days a week, the actual days of the week to be agreed.

There is a competitive remuneration package, after three month probationary period, which includes a non-contributory Group Personal Pension scheme, private medical insurance, 26 days paid leave per annum (includes 3 days between Christmas and New Year), insurancesand a paid travel ticket after one years employment.
