An experienced manager is required for the Southend school admissions system which operates for all schools including academies. Good relationships have been established with all schools and the coordinated admissions system for reception and year seven runs smoothly and effectively.
Primary pupil numbers are rising rapidly and there is a capital programme to provide more primary school places. The admissions system is automated with a high percentage of parents applying and receiving offers on line.
Experience o f working with school admissions, the ability to manage complex processes, and the ability to deal with challenging individual cases are all essential.
