My client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is looking for a Senior Java architect to come on board and develop a core technical platform for Securities Operations. The successful candidate will be supporting the lead architect designing and developing the core platform for other Global Markets Operations Technology development teams.

They will also be responsible for IT Prototyping, developing and documenting the core patterns for operations technology, Working closely with the rest of the GMOT de velopment community to communicate and support the delivery of the defined strategic architecture Accountable for the technical platform design with lead architect Senior individual contributor

The successful candidate will have Capital markets experience, have Strong Java/Linux skills, be an Independent thinker, experience working in a core architecture group (hands on), and be strong with SQL and at least one of following platforms - Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server/DB2.
