The Role:

Understand business change needs, assess the impact of those changes, capture, analyse and document requirements and then support the communication and delivery of those requirements with all relevant parties within the Infrastructure team

Responsible for the end-to-end management of product configuration data, including timely and accurate delivery of Product Information Models

Core Tasks:

.Lead the Business Analysis and Product Configuration practices in Colt

Develop people plans for the business analysis and product configuration functions

Produce continuous improvement plans for the business analysis and product configuration functions

Manage the BA and product configuration resource pool and assignment to projects

Design product models

Deliver Product Offering Specifications (CPOS) according to programme/pr oject plans ensuring product data integrity across Colt systems

Liaise with business managers and key users to understand, document and prioritise business requirements

Work with business owners from affected business areas to understand current processes and to assess the impact of any changes needed to deliver the project

Work with the project manager to plan analysis work and highlight risks and issues, the business owners to define acceptance criteria and other related projects to understand and manage project dependencies

The Ideal Candidate:

Extensive experience in an IT or telecommunication environment on an international basis

Extensive experience in an IT or telecommunication environment on an international basis

Proven experience of systems design and development to ensure new products/services can be implemented with minimal effort

Direct experience of product development and product modelling

Qualifications:

Degree qualification, or equivalent, preferably within a science related discipline
