Our client is a well established business with a strong brand and market presence. They now wish to recruit a Business Intelligence Manager/Senior Data Analyst to head up a small team at their offices in central Birmingham.


The Role:

Inheriting an established data warehouse you will take full responsibility for delivering a range of BI solutions to stakeholders up to and including director level . This is a hands on role so strong technical knowledge of data warehousing and analysis/reporting will be required. The role will also involve interfacing to the business proactively encouraging users to use the service and you will be constantly looking for new ways of delivering new features. You will also mentor and develop another team member.

The Person:

Educated to degree level you will be an experienced data analyst or business intelligence professional with solid technical skills in SQL Server 2008, SQL query writing and the use of SQL Server Management Studio. Strong Excel skills are also sought and knowledge of BI tools such as Clickview would be very useful. You will be proactive in your approach to the business and take the lead in suggesting new ways of reporting data and be comfortable interacting at all levels. People management skills would be a definite bonus.
