As one of the largest energy companies in the UK, we are leading the roll-out of smart meters across the UK. Smart Meters will help benefit our customers in managing their energy and support the UK's drive to reduce carbon emissions.

You will be Gas qualified to CMA1 / CCN1 and ideally MET1 level with a minimum of 1 year's experience. Electrical MOCOPA authorisation would be an advantage however this is not essential as training will be provided to enable you to become a dual skilled installer.

As an ambassador of SSE, providing the best customer service will be a key element of this role. You'll plan and prioritise your work to meet customer needs and ensure each job is completed safely and satisfactorily.

You'll also use your skills to coach and develop your colleagues and ideally have a strong understanding of the energy sector. A current UK driving licence is required, as you will work across your region installing, maintaining and repairing SMART meters.
