Description of the job
The role of the BLADE Stress integrator is to ensure that specific stress activities are coordinated across the workpackages and that specific analysis activates such as FEM, methods coordination and Test definitions are defined coordinated and delivered. Additionally, to ensure that requirements are met and that appropriate specialist are directly involved where necessary

The BLADE programme is complex in organisation with Partners at different levels of engineering capability. Although there is some specific design work being carried out within Airbus, by far the greater task is the technical coordination and project management of the partners. This will require considerable pragmatism and technical expertise to ensure that the appropriate technical solutions are arrived within the programme timescales

You will be working with engineering teams from within Wing Transnational Organisation and with partners from Sweden, Romania, France, Spain and the UK.

You will report into the Engineering Team Leader for the NLF and your responsibilities will include...

Definition of stress deliverables across Airbus and Partner organisations, following through to resolve issues and support delivery.
Regular technical team meetings with BLADE partners and airbus specialists to assess progress and resolve technical issues
Attending technical progress reviews, supporting the development of technical solutions
Accountability for partner compliance to requirements
Ensuring appropriate specialist are engaged when required
Supporting the Project Managers and Lead stress engineer for the project in managing key deliverables from the workpackage/s ensuring that they are delivered to time, cost and quality
Developing transitional relations within the wing and pylon perimeters and also with interfacing organisations and stakeholders

A degree or HND/HNC in a relevant Engineering field and substantial working experience within a relevant industry
Demonstrated Technical knowledge in structural analysis
