My Birmingham based client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Works Manager to assist the Operations Manager in the efficient running of the site.

Tasks and duties but not limited to:-

Manage, control and supervise all activities of electrical, mechanical and site services.Manage and lead departmental foremen.Manage customer accounts with a view to sustain good customer relations.Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to.Recruit, motivate and train employees.Document quotations, works jobs, QESH compliance and QA.Control jobs throughput, chasing productivity through to completion.

Skills and Expertise

You will need tohave a proven background in working with rotating electrical machines.Previous experience of managing staff.Customerfacing experienceAbility to plan, direct and supervise work of engineers.Ability to plan and control company resources to maximise productivity.IT literate, MSOffice applications.Health and Safety regulationsQuality AssuranceExcellent written and oral skills.
