Job Title: 3rd line Technical Support Analyst

A skilled Technical Support Analyst is needed to provide 2nd/3rd level technical platform and infrastructure problem resolution for enterprise level ERP/Financial systems. The company provide managed services to their key client base to provide class leading technical support.
The role is interesting and varied due to the variety of technical problems that can come in, to do with the implementation of the systems into existing client infrastructure. These problems can include such things as Hardware, Operating Systems, RDBMS and Web configurations.
Core skill areas needed would be:
-Previous experience working in a client server environment, supporting either SQL Server 2005/2008, carrying out routine maintenance, housekeeping and performance tuning would be essential.
-Experience in writing SQL queries would be essential.
-A good working knowledge of Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server and Professional, Windows XP.
-Experience with implementation of new systems into existing infrastructures.
-A working knowledge of Citrix is useful
-Experience of building/deploying VSphere and use of Virtual Centre would be an advantage
-Experience of configuring and administering in a Windows environment including Active Directory would be useful.
-Knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking
-Experience of ODBC database access
