Description of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an A350 Wing PPM Deputy, to be based at the Airbus site in Filton. On behalf and for the leader of a project, and in support of all of a project's stakeholders including members of the project's team, the job holder manages all relevant Project Management activities.

Tasks
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for ensuring the daily application of processes and procedures such as defining, setting-up and managing the project plan, schedule plan and resources plan.

You will also be supporting the Project Leader in his accountability to achieve time, cost and performance objectives by analysing collected information (including technical information) to identify possible deviations from the project baseline as well as different possible technical and/or project scenarios in order to recommend preventive and corrective actions.

You will help the Project Leader in agreeing with stakeholders on the goals & objectives of the project. Followed by capturing and formalising requirements, analysing them to ensure that all stakeholder expectations are met, cascade and allocate them to the appropriate level within the project structure, validate them and control any modification to requirements (in terms of additions or changes).

You will support the Project Leader in delivering reports on the projects status to team members, upper level(s) and other stakeholders by providing adequate indicators and analysis (KPI, Dashboard, etc). You will also give your support in defining and organising the closure of different phases of the project and to ensure the transfer of project results, status and outstanding actions (lessons learnt, best practice, knowledge transfer, etc.) to new project organisation/new actors as well as to ramp-down of project members and their transfer to other posts.

Your skills
As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate some of or all of the following skills;

- Knowledge of Airbus Engineering and aircraft development processes
- Systems engineering
- Life cycle management
- Design processes
- Substantial experience in Project Management
- Line management experience
- French or German language skills beneficial but not essential
