There is a need to support clients with the deployment of their key talent to those locations in the world where they can add most value and have the most impact on delivering key strategic objectives.

The Global Immigration Group within Human Capital provides and manages a range of business immigration services to multinational clients who send employees, and their families, to work and live in another country. These services typically centre on the compliance and legal issues in coordinating and filing their work and visa applications, subsequent work permit/visa extensions and passport/nationality issues.

We are seeking an Assistant Consultant to join our team based in our Manchester office to provide both day-to-day administration and technical support to our clients including:

*Researching and advising clients regarding a variety of immigration applications
*Completion of immigration application forms and covering emails/letters for manager review and submission to the UK Border Agency
*Gathering and entering of data on the Home Office's Sponsor Management System
*Completion of business visa application forms for submission to the appropriate Embassies/Consulates in the UK
*Liaison with global immigration network to gather information required to respond to client's needs

Qualifications/skills you'll need as an Assistant Consultant:

*A good working knowledge and understanding of immigration applications in order to best advise our clients
*Knowledge of the Points Based System (specifically Tier 2), settlement, visas etc would be useful.
*Previous experience of immigration ideally from a professional services environment
