Business Development Administrator

Purpose of Job / Key Objectives
The Business Development Administrator for Direct Services (Leisure and Environmental Services) will be responsible for supporting the Business Development (BD) teams. The Business Development Administrator will have particular responsibility for the Pre Qualification element of the tendering process, ensuring Questionnaires are completed on time and in accordance with Serco Governance.
Principal Duties
Responsible for:
Notifying the BD teams (Leisure and Environmental Services) of new business opportunities (proactively searching relevant journals, business magazines etc.) Expressing interest in relevant projects, which meet BD criteria Managing the Pre Qualification Process for Leisure and Environmental Services, including completion and submission of Questionnaires Collation of information to establish new opportunities onto the BD database Establishing collaboration rooms on internal web based system and uploading information for dissemination Researching projects, including web based and telephone, and collating information in relevant format Maintaining and developing the electronic bid library, contracts filing system and Trust information General BD administration including, reprographics, room/travel bookings and reception service Any other duties required to support the Business Development teamsQualification Level
This person will hold a business qualification to degree level or equivalent. A focus on law / legal studies would be an advantage.
Experience Level
Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of project administration. Knowledge of local authority tendering process would be beneficial.Essential Skills
