The holder will be responsible for the effective management of the companies Alarm Receiving Centre based in Rochester Kent, reporting into the Operations Director. He/She will ensure that all service delivery is maintained and exceeded to maximise customer satisfaction. The holder will be responsible for ensuring that all Company systems and processes are functioning correctly to the required standard. The holder will promote the Company, the service it provides, andthe managementof staff in a positive and professional manner at all times.

The holder will work as a team player and be a productive member of the management team. The holder will be required to perform these functions in line with business needs, though normal working hourswill be Monday - Friday 8am till 4pm.

Key tasks of the role:

1. Identify, understand, and meet customer needs.

2. Manage the monitoring andARC equipment and systems, recording and reporting all actions.

3. Promote team working and customer focus.Provide assistance and cover to the Control Room team should it be required

4. Maintain standards within the ARC. Taking ownership and responsibility for all ARC monitoring platforms and the management of key holders and assigment instructions.

5. Liaison with outside agencies including emergency servicesand other Statutory Agencies.

6. Ensure all systems are functioning within normal parameters.

7. Managing customer needs and expectations

8. Covering of Duty Manager will be required for out of hours support

Role Requirements:

1. Valid frontline SIA Licence, preferably but not essential in CCTV

2. Expierience of dealing with Customers

3. Impeccable communication and telephone skills

4. Experience in using the following monitoring platforms would be advantageous DM Observer, Smarttell Vista, Adpro, Indigo Vision, Teleeye and Immix

5. Excellent PC and computer skills essential

6. Experience as an ARC, SOC or CCTV control room manager preffered
