The company is a leading retailer within the UK with over 500 stores Nationwide. With it being fast paced and energetic, they are looking for an individual that will be able to deliver an outstanding field based ER service to the business.
Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner the key responsibilities of the role are to:
Conduct and manage all ER cases within your regions.Adherence to Employee Relations SLAs at all times.Be able to manage and plan case hearings, meetings and investigations across your remit of regions.Initiate, develop and maintain good working relationships with store management teams, regional management teams and Head Office parties.Effectively manage long-term sick cases.Ensure that the ER tracker (containing all live cases) is updated on a daily basis through thorough liaison with the Head Office HR Helpdesk.The ideal person needs to be focused, out going and be able to move forward with the business. You will have excellent organisational skills; an excellent understanding of operational retail workings (desirable); an excellent knowledge of current employment law andhave a strong influence who isable to deal with complex ER scenarios.
