ETL / Implementation / SSIS / T-SQL / VBA

An ETL/ SQL Server Implementation Specialist with solid ETL Design / SSIS expertise and T-SQL experience is needed for niche Financial Services client in central Manchester. The role will sit in the Technical Implementation team and the core responsibilities will be loading consumer receivables onto specific business systems / Data Migration work as well as reconciliations. As part of the role you will also be expected to have thorough knowledge of ETL processes i.e. data conversions and integration (SSIS). It is also essential that you will be fluent in developing and deploying efficient and robust data extraction as well as requirements gathering and documentation. Any experience within the Financial Services sector would be highly desirable.

Core required skills:

SQL Server 2005/2008 R2SSIS/ETL - Develop new packages, and enhance/maintain existing SSIS packagesT-SQLBusiness analysis & technical design documentation i.e. good written skills.Database designSQL performance tuning (DTA, SQL Profiler, indexing & troubleshooting)Views, Stored procedures, Functions etc. are also a prerequisite.

Additional discretionary skills:

VB.NET for use within SSISVBA & Microsoft ExcelXMLCLR proceduresSSRS / Data warehousing / SSAS & OLAP
