We have a superb and very exciting opportunity for a Flight Reservations Manager to join a Travel Organisation in the Leicester area. The role will involve managing the flight reservation team for existing offline retails, online retail queries and corporate bookings. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the complete functions under flight reservations which includes management for Retail, B2B Agents and Corporate. My client is looking for an experienced Reservations or Sales Manager from within the travel industry, who has a good understanding of flight reservations on a GDS and strong management skills. This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Travel Sales or Travel Reservations Manager to develop their career with a progressive and growing travel organisation and in return, my client can offer a highly competitive and negotiable base salary plus industry benefits.

Role of Flights Reservations Manager:

-Monitor conversion of a call/walk ins into a sales call for inbound up selling and thus generating revenue to the company.
-Providing own expertise and ideas for designing flight itineraries and executing various new travel products
-Must be capable of handling and materialising all kind of sales queries and complaints
-Responsible for achieving sales and the profit target set by the management.
-Review, streamline and set sale and profit targets for each individual in the flight reservations unit and work along to achieve the same.
-Responsible for monitoring individual and team performance regularly.
-Involve in escalation process to resolve issues with the Airline and consolidators for office where service levels are not met.

Necessary Skills Required:

-Previous managerial/supervisory experience gained from within a similar role.
-Proficient on GDS and air reservations.
-Sales oriented and able to make reservations for passengers when required.
-Able to motivate and develop a team
-Strong leadership skills
-Ability to speak Gujrati, Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu is essential
