As a HR Officer you will deliver generalist HR support within Funeralcare Support Functions, focusing on development of capability, and project development and implementation. In this challenging and diverse role you will coach and support our line managers and provide expert employee relations advice on areas such as disciplinary actions, grievances, redundancy and Trade Unions matters. Using your strong knowledge of employment law you will provide credible and high quality advice at all times, in line with UK legislation. In addition you will assist our management teams in utilising Calibre Analysis and Succession Planning in order identify employee development needs and subsequently collaborating with the relevant departments to facilitate appropriate training/development provision. To do this successfully you will need.

-To be CIPD qualified, or working towards the qualification

-Experience of working in a HR Advisory role

-Evidence of working with complex employee relations cases, experience of dealing with Trade Unions is preferable

-Effective communication skills and the ability to be flexible, organised and confident

-The ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels

-To be happy to travel in the role, as required
