Marketing MI Analyst

Job Purpose:
To create, develop and support the continuous improvement and analysis of Marketing Management Information and to provide Customer and Business Intelligence to support the needs of the Marketing Director and the wider Marketing team.
Key areas:
Provide accurate, robust and standardised reporting of Management Information; looking at marketing campaigns and the changing dynamics in our customer segments.
Carry out analysis and evaluation of marketing campaign effectiveness. Feeding this back into selection criteria for continuous data effectiveness improvement
To deliver ongoing monitoring of our customer segments and reporting on the impact of strategic decisions on the customer base.
Areas of Responsibility
Creation and ongoing development of Management Information for all marketing activities
Development of fully operational marketing management and reporting databases
Data sourcing, collation, modelling and analysis to support strategic decisions
Production of monthly statistics/performance of department against KPIs, for board, director and senior management team reports
RDR monitoring of impact on customer base and regular presentation of findings
Data sourcing, collation, modelling and analysis to support senior management tactical decision making
Highlighting of potential and emerging trends and problems along with proposals for solutions
Continuous improvement of speed, efficiency and accuracy of reporting to Marketing senior management
Development of standard campaign evaluation reports
Understanding and interpretation of MI data from Insight (campaign management tool)
Skills and QualificationsEssential
Excellent knowledge of Excel, (macros, forecasting, etc) Databases, SQL, SAS
Ability to articulate complex issues clearly to senior management/director level
Previous experience of Business Intelligence systems (Pro-Clarity, SAS, Faststats)
Technical knowledge (industry, compliance)
Good relationship management at all levels
