PROJECT MANAGER / PROJECT DIRECTOR - MANCHESTER - TEMP
24-30 an hour, or day rate negotiable

A well-established building main contractor has a temporary vacancy for Project Lead on a circa 21m scheme in Manchester. This new build project is publicly-funded and requires a lead who is experienced in two-stage tendering and project delivery and has a background working with public bodies as clients. Candidates should be educated to at least degree-level and be proactive, professional and able to build strong, lasting client relationships while always looking to develop any situations of dispute into a win-win solution.

Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering building projects upwards of 20m in build value, ideally from the tender stage through to final handover on-site. If candidates have relevant experience of all stages of a two-stage tender including project delivery but from different projects, this will also be considered. A background working with a top ten main contractor and having sole operational responsibility for projects is essential
