The successful candidate will assist in day to day responsibility for theinternal sales aspects of this cable distribution depot with a turnover in excess of 40 million and a staff of 70+ reporting directly to the depot manager.

You will manage, monitor and motivate sales officestaff on a daily basis ensuring procedures are adhered to and customer service expectations are exceeded.

Create a motivated and committed team, assisting the Depot Manager on all aspects of staff development.

Assisting in managing staff time keeping, performance, absenteeism, holidays and disciplinary procedures when needed.

Work day to day as a member of the Internal Sales Team, handling customers orders, quotes, enquires,

Ideal Candidate:An experienced branch manager or assistant manager. with a proven track record in man management ,H.R. and sales.

An understanding of the electrical industry would be an advantage.

Naturally lead from the front, motivating the team and being assertive when needed.

You will have a good understanding of current employment legislation, and good working practices. You will not be afraid to implement change where necessary to improve the efficiency of the operation if needed.

You will report on a daily basis to the Depot Manager toensure he is kept briefed on all relevant operational and sales issues.

This is a challenging position that will need someone with strong Management skills and first class organisational skills.
