When you join Barclays as a Senior Complaints Officer, you'll play a key role in the resolution of regulatory complaints for Barclays. It'll be down to you to make sure that all customer complaints are dealt with according to the regulatory requirements of the Financial Services Authority and Financial Ombudsman Service. You'll keep us free from fines and censure, protecting both our reputation and those of our associated companies. What you'll give our customers as a Senior Complaints Officer
You'll make sure that individual customer complaints in life insurance, pensions, and investments are managed and resolved in agreement with the Customer Relations department handbook and other regulatory requirements. You'll also progress complaint cases to a swift resolution in priority order, to meet personal and team targets and regulatory deadlines. In addition, you'll maintain the complaints database and ensure that all entries are recorded accurately to guarantee the integrity of the system.

What you'll need as a Senior Complaints Officer
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need a solid knowledge of life, pension and investment products and the regulated financial services environment, along with experience of redress calculations. You'll also need FPC level 1-3 or CEFA qualifications and a GCSE or equivalent in English and maths. We'll also consider anyone who is partially qualified and currently working their way to a full qualification.
We'll judge you on your ability and nothing else.
