We are looking for a Team Manager who will take the responsibility for managing our Children with Disabilities Team dedicated to providing services to children and young people within Essex. You will work from our attractive office in Castle Point, which is easily accessible by both car and rail and offers parking.
In addition to your excellent social work credentials, the essential requirements of the role are the ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled social care professionals as well as a proactive and resilient approach to the development of your team and your own self-development. To be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible in your approach, have the ability to give your staff the support they need and manage the performance requirements of the team.
It could be that you're an experienced Team Manager, or looking for your first role in Social Care Management; either way, you will have previous experience of supervising staff. If you are a motivated to making a positive change to the lives of children and young people in need, in addition to the development of the service, we're very keen to hear from you.

Essential criteria for this position include CQSW/DipSW/CSS Consolidation Award or equivalent and full registration with the General Social Care Council. Successful candidates must obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure Certificate.
The duties of this job require the postholder to travel throughout an operational area, therefore a valid driving licence and use of car is required.
