Job Purpose

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to work on the AXA WRAP proposition - Elevate. This provides a fantastic opportunity to work in a quick moving and modern financial services business. Working in the Investment Operations department you will be providing expert support on a range of investments including mutual funds, direct stocks & shares (stockbroking) and discretionary fund managers, providing technical support for processes, ISA and SIPP legislation, regulation and systems to for the AXA Elevate WRAP platform including undertaking internal and external audits and reviews of investment administration work and completing regulatory, and other returns for submission to the relevant authority.



Key Accountabilities

Undertake detailed investment audit work on both internal and external administration functions in order to maintain adherence to excellent operational quality standards and to identify any issues/trends and make recommendations to ensure ongoing compliance with agreed standards. Identify risks/issues arising from audit work, undertaking trend and root cause analysis, escalating where necessary, and assist with the management of identified risks. Responsible for ensuring the relevant regulatory reports/returns are correctly produced and submitted on time directly to the appropriate authority and to resolve errors that arise. Provide expert technical investment advice and solutions for complex issues/queries raised by the AXA Operation teams and, other internal customers e.g. administration teams, sales channels and external customers. Maintain and develop knowledge in area of specialist expertise, disseminate relevant technical information to members of the teams, and ensure working practices are developed. Ensure that processes and procedures (including process guides) comply with legislation, regulatory requirements, professional codes of conduct, internal accounting controls or office and industry best practice, and that documentation is kept up to date and breaches reported where necessary.

Skills & Experience

Excellent investment technical knowledge - attained or studying towards relevant professional qualifications Comprehensive knowledge of relevant investment processes, procedures, products and technology. Detailed understanding of the investment products legislation, taxation and regulations Knowledge of working with a WRAP platform desirable Excellent team skills Good communications skillsSound pension technical knowledge - desirable Experience in pensions administration, particularly self-invested pensions - desirable
