Are you an experienced Technical Author with Robohelp experience? Are you seeking an opportunity working for a global organisation? Are you enthused by the idea of working within a fast paced and dynamic environment?

The Background

This global manufacturing organisation, with a multi-billion pound turnover, is currently seeking to recruit a Technical Author to produce on-line user guides and help manuals for their suite of software offerings. Working within a global environment, this position may offer the opportunity of exciting projects.

The Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Documentation Manager, you will be responsible for working with and shadowing Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to design and develop a series of on-line user guides. You will manage meetings with SME's to gather and clarify information, developing rapport and relationships across the business.

You will then take responsibility for the technical writing and authoring of content, relying heavily on the knowledge extracted from the SME's.

The Professional

You'll be an experienced technical writer with experience of using Robohelp. You will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent, within a writing related subject. You will be an excellent communicator, with the gravitas to work with senior level professionals, taking ownership of meetings.
