Role Description:
To ensure all products are handled, stored, processed and identified in accordance with All Metal Services Working Practices and Procedures ensuring adherence to customer requirements whilst maintaining a high quality of product and promoting safe working practices and policies.
To Promote and contribute towards the continuous improvement of processes in order to maximise stock, productivity and minimise waste in all operational processes.
Raise and seek resolution on any/all, production processes or customer orders.
Main Accountabilities:
Ensuring that all products are handled and processed in the most appropriate manner to ensure best possible product quality and material recovery.
Ensuring production output and productivity meets defined targets and the expectations of the internal & external customer with regard to Quality and delivery.
Ensuring all orders are produced in a timely and effective manner to meet the customer due dates
Work to improve the production processes and housekeeping of the site in conjuction with the Operations Management Team

Qualifications, Experience & SkillsEssential:Self-motivated, reliant, diligent and numerate.
Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work unsupervised.

Desirable:Experience in a similar role.
Product Knowledge
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
1.Picking customer orders ensuring all products are weighed with the exception of tube, which must be physically counted and measured to determine meter-age/footage.
2.Identification of incoming stock, Locating of material and ensuring stock locations systems are updated at all times.
3.Driving Fork Lift Trucks / loading and unloading lorries.
4.Ensure area kept clean and tidy at all times.
5.Reporting of damage and shortages.
6.Any other Warehouse duties as instructed.
7.Comply with Standard Code of Working Practices.
8.Comply too all safety procedures/regulations at all times.
9.Operating machinery as and when expected, i.e. polythene coating machine, guillotine, saws etc.
Before cutting any material always check:
Material Specification and Size
Thickness
Grain-flow
Cutting Tolerances
Check and double check machine is set up correctly before cutting
Ensure that all material and any off-cuts returned to stock are identified with
Rotation, Size and Spec ink-marked
Identification Number hard stamped
After cutting:
Weigh Finished Job
Weigh Off-cuts returned to stock

-Rotating 06:00-14:00hrs / 14:00-22:00hrs Shift Pattern.
-08:00 17:00hrs
-Permanent Nightshift 22:00hrs 06:00hrs
