Do you thrive on finding needles in a haystack? Were looking for an entrepreneurial data geek that thrives on gaining a deep understanding of a clients business and industry (including product strategy, competitive landscape, target personas, campaigns, KPIs), and can l ead a team to discover insights that will fuel that business. The Social Insight Manager will be responsible for establishing client relationships, defining KPIs and business goals, diving into many sources of social data (product reviews, listening tool data, survey data, etc.) and ultimately providing actionable insights from user-generated content.

Bazaarvoice data is specifically targeted at brands and products, which gives us the opportunity to mine social data for insights like no one else can. We are looking for a leader that gets up every morning excited to use their experience in data analysis to add value to huge brands. Our team works with clients to find brand, product, and customer insights in their social data. The ideal candidate is data-driven, curious, creative, and has a great mind for what insights can add value to our clients bottom line. Bazaarvoice is seeking smart, fun people to help us drive forward our level of social data analysis!


Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:

We are looking for 8-10 years of data analysis experience.

Solid experience working with social data, social listening platform tools, text analysis, and deep statistical knowledge is required.

Proven track record of using business goals to drive analysis and having a creative approach to findings insights required.

Management experience and the ability to lead a team is a massive plus as this role could evolve into a management position.

Web analytics, digital agency, and consulting experience are a plus. MBA or graduate degree preferred.

Eligibility to work in the UK.

In Summary:

This is a key role as we continue our international expansion. The right candidate will find an interesting and varied role dealing with clients across EMEA with the potential to go on and manage a team. You will be gi ven all the support and training needed to succeed including spending time in the Austin office as part of the training.
