Seeking Basic Skills Tutors to deliver basic skills Maths & English level one at various London locations. Various locations and hours available.

Hourly rate is negotiable depending on level of experience.

Myclient who is a leading provider of employment and training services are looking for self motivated and enthusiasticBasicSkillsTutors to join their team across London. To deliver sessions covering Basic Skills (Maths & English). Assessing, supporting and furnishing learners with the required skills. Enabling learners to attain qualifications that will enhance their further education and/or e mployment prospects. This role is teaching learners in a classroom basis.

Criteria
Essential:
Teaching qualification (PTTLS/ DTTLS/PGCE).

Experience of delivering basic skills

Able to produce schemes of work and session plans. (lesson plans will be provided)

Have experience of dealing with Awarding Bodies and exam procedures.
Ability to motivate and engage learners at different levels using a variety of materials.
Ability to communicate at all levels and use own initiative.
Ability to track learner progress and relevant experience working with young people.
Excellent organisational, time management skills and IT skills (MS office 2000).
