We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Infrastructure) / Bid Manager for the Xchanging Technology Services organisation.

The role will involve;
* Collating and gathering customer scoping information in response to customer requests
* To liaise with technical authorities and other internal representatives to create, cost and document a solution
* To collate and document technical solutions to customer requirements
* To support and manage the delivery of bid response documents

Key Accountabilities:
1. To gather and clarify customer requirements in response to Service Change Requests (SCR)
2. To liaise with Xchanging technical architects and 3rd party solution providers to create and collate fully formed technical solutions in response to customer requests
3. To liaise with technical and service representatives from Xchanging Hosting Services to design appropriate solutions to SCRs
4. To ensure that all costs associated with the delivery of any solution are captured
5. To draft customer proposals in response to SCRs received
6. To deliver proposals to customers and provide additional information where required.
7. To support the project manager with the pre-sales advice during the delivery of a project
8. To take ownership of bid responses, identify key respondents and coordinate and collate their input into a formal bid response

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include the following:

* Degree level education
* Broad (but high level) range of technical knowledge - Networks, Intel, Solaris, Databases, Telephony, Storage etc
* Presentation skills, both written and oral
* High level of numeracy
* Good interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail
* High degree of organisation
* Ability to work under pressure
* Able to work on several work-streams at once
* Able to deliver to tight deadlines
