BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE - EVENTS
My client is an excellent events company, who is looking for a sales driven person with venue finding experience to develop new opportunities. This position could be based from home, but will require travel into central London.
Primary duties of the event Business Development Executive are:-
To have worked for or have experience of a venue find companyTo develop and grow sales and event revenue within the venue market sector.To review and identify contract renewals and to ensure that the client has an opportunity to pitch for these contracts.To identify new contract opportunities and ensure that the client has an opportunity to pitch for these contracts.To gather and maintain business intelligence on all potential Business Development opportunities.To gather business intelligence on key competitors.Generating, through email and telesales activities, sales opportunitiesTo attend client meetings or events when required and to present both the client and yourself in a professional manner at all times.To create proposal and sales documents.Planning and prioritising of personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact to maximise productivity.You will be required to make sure that any customer follow ups are maintained and managed along with all sales enquiries.You will be expected to actively manage your own work flow utilising time management, sales skills and reportingTo monitor and report on your activities and provide all releva nt management information.To be client focused and sales driven at all times.Requirements for the venue find sales consultant are:
