An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Protocol Education, a market leading education supply agency. We are looking to recruit a Field Sales Consultant to look after Secondary schools in the Surrey area.

The Secondary Team is based in Chancery Lane however the successful candidate will be field based at least 4 days a week. They will also have the use of the facilities in our Wimbledon office whenever necessary.

The role will deal largely wit h developing close client relationships and increasing the current school business in Surrey. Our ideal candidate will be someone that has the ability to focus on sales and business development with the capability to build the desk up. This will be achieved through sales calls and client visits. Being a car driver and having own car is essential.

You must be a self starter, self motivated and driven with a proven track record in Education or Sales. You will be hands on and be able to work in a fast paced work environment.

You will need to have enthusiasm for recruitment, great business development combined with passion, integrity, ambition and a strong desire to succeed.You will join an already established and successful team, where full training and development will be provided along with all the resources and support of a well established market leader.

A Protocol Education consultants' day is varied and challenging, but this role encompasses:

U ndertaking sales calls to make initial introductions and promote the benefits of Protocol Education as a supply agency

Make and attend visits with school contacts in order to fully understand their exact supply requirements and how we may best assist them

Build strong relationships on a day to day basis, promote specific candidates to schools and offer an efficient and personable service at all times

Identify, and interview potential candidates

Make contact with schools in a specific geographical area to promote Protocol Education's candidates for long-term placements

Negotiate and set rates within certain parameters and company guidelines

Undertake a wide range of marketing activities in order to increase profitability of the desk

Work closely with other members of the team at all times

Achieve set activity and productivity targets

Annual salary: 24k - 26k depending on education/sales/recruitment experience plus commission and bonuses

Hours: 08.4517.00 term time / 09.00 16.00 school holiday time
