Network Engineer - Cisco - Load Balancing, Switching & Routing & Call Manager Skills - Ideally Cisco Accredited

Our client is currently looking for a Network Engineer to be based inLondon.

The successful candidate will assist the Network & Security Technology Lead to ensure data links contracts and maintenance are fit for purpose, kept up to date and cancelled promptly when appropriate. You will also be involv ed in various projects and ensure that the operational service is maintained resulting in zero downtime through constant management of the network & security environment.

Key requirements

Strong Network and Security background, with strong analytical and problem solving skills and a can do attitude for delivering IT support. Strong experience ofSwitching & Routing,Cisco Call Manager andLoad Balancing Have proven technical solution design skills, and a good understanding of technology developments Have good knowledge of project management and project delivery Excellent knowledge of Cisco IOS, supporting Routers and Switches Excellent knowledge of Cisco equipment within HP blade enclosures (P and C Class) Knowledge of Nokia and Netscreen Firewalls Bluecoat Proxy experience Good Linux experience DNS/DHCP (ideally using Infoblox devices)
