RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitoring stock, bond, FX and commodity markets and squawkingrelevant information for each market to clients

Assist in writing daily news & research sheets, calendars & economic reports

Conduct daily video broadcasts to external clients

Ad hoc tasks and any other duties that may be required from time to time

KEY INTERFACES

Interacting with the other members of the analyst team on a daily basis

Liaising with sales staff as required

Liaising with clients as required

QUALIFI CATIONS

Degree educated (2:1 or higher) or sufficient industry experience

EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Keen interest in the global financial markets

Knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters is beneficial

Internet literate and competent knowledge of Microsoft Office

CAPABILITIES

Essential to have a clear & fluent speaking voice, strong communication skills a must

Good organisational skills & able to work as part of a team

Disciplined time management skills & ability to work under pressure

Ability to learn and implement new skills quickly and efficiently
