Skills for Health are looking for an individual with extensive knowledge and experience of programming in a number of languages, to include PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Ajax

The post ho lder will act as the lead developer on a range of assignments within Skills for Healths Technical Development Team, working on a number of projects through all stages of the of the software development lifecycle - from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.

The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining Skills for Healths existing suite of web-based tools, enhancing existing functionality, fixing software bugs, and working with server providers to ensure these tools continue to run smoothly. The post holder may on occasion be required to work outside of normal office hours for essential tool/server maintenance.

Skills for Health Ltd was established in 2010 as part of the Skills for Health group of companies. It is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. Its purpose is to support the Sector Skills Council to help the whole health sector, which empl oys more than 2 million people across the UK, develop solutions that deliver a skilled and flexible workforce.
