Clinical Psychologist

My Client is looking to recruit an OCD/BDD Therapy Team Leader / Managerfor their Hospital in London with their specialist experience within Mental Health. This is a fantastic opportunity within a national treatment refractive service for patients with Obsessive Compulsive and related disorders in adults and some adolescents.
Main Purpose
You will manage a single therapy service or programme within a unit, ensuring the therapy service/programme is delivered to quality standards, within budget and to agreed timescales while complying with current legislation, statutory regulations and professional codes of practice.
Key Accountabilities
To work with the Therapy Service Manager and Clinical Lead to manage the effective implementation of a key therapy/service programme for patients requiring therapeutic interventionsManage, monitor and review caseload through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic interventionsTo conduct highly specialist clinical work in the area of cognitive behaviour therapy for anxiety disorders, with particular emphasis on BDD and OCD. To supervise and manage staff in the department which will include therapists and nursing staffResponsible for your own budget within the overall therapy/programmeExperience
It is essential that you hold a Post-graduate masters/doctoral level training in clinical psychology and proficient in cognitive behaviour therapy.
BABCP Accreditation or working towards it is desirable
Previous experience of working as a qualified clinical or counselling psychologist
Experience of delivering CBT to patients with Obsessive Compulsive and related disorders to adults and adolescents
Training or mentoring in supervision of other professionals
The Role
This is a full time permanent position 37.5 hours per week
Salary (grade 8) 27,410 - 41,114
