Our client seeks a SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Developer to be responsible for the development and delivery of Reporting and Management Information Systems using MS SQL Reporting Services on both MS SQL Server 2005 & MS SQL Server 2008 and of T-SQL stored procedures.

The SSRS Developer will also carryout ad-hoc queries to facilitate reporting needs of the business, identify, research and propose solutions to performance bottlenecks, establishing a baseline for per formance on all key routes into our data and ensure the database environments are clean and consistent, with changes made in a controlled and timely fashion.

To be considered you will have a 5 years experience as a database developer with at least 2 years using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Other skills will include MS SQL server 2005/2008R2 including SSIS, Knowledge of query performance tuning, good understanding of the SQL security model and its implementation, ETL skills using SSIS and in-depth knowledge of procedural SQL programming, T-SQL.

Candidates will have excellent communication skills both for technical and business audiences.
