Technical Sales Engineer, Air to Water Heat Pump

Our client is a global fortune 150 engineering group with a wide ranging product and manufacturing portfolio. Their London based sales office is responsible for the European sales and after sales service of air conditioning units (amongst other machinery and equipment) the EMEA region.

Your Tasks as Technical Sales Engineer, Air to Water Heat Pump:
The successful candidate will be required to continuou sly improve their comprehension of technical specification of our clients new/old heat pump products, and then to promote and then these products by creating presentations, documents and software.

Some of the key tasks will include:
Technical support to distributors / customers
Responding to technical enquiries by e-mail or phone immediately;
Visiting distributors / customers to confirm and/or solve their enquiries;
Checking drawings of project (piping / installation layout / specification);
Visiting sites with distributors for commissioning;
Investigating unit malfunctions and/or damages with after-sales section;
Creating presentation for distributors / customers.
Organizing seminars for distributors / customers.
Surveying the market information for new products.
Visiting exhibitions to investigate new products / market information;
Attending relevant seminars / meetings relating to heat pump indu stry associations.

Your Background as Technical Sales Engineer, Air to Water Heat Pump:
Degree in Engineering.
Technical experience within heat pump or boiler manufacturer/distributorship environment.
Fundamental understanding of water system for sanitary and heating.
Knowledge of heat pump and water system.
Knowledge of regulations and EU directives related to boilers and/or heat pumps.
Fluent English, both oral and written.
Strong communication skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Capable of multi tasking.
Knowledge of other European language(s) could be beneficial.
Schengen visa holder could be beneficial.
