Our client is an award winning global law firm who have a rare opening for an L&D coordinator to join their team at a time of positive change. With the impending introduction of a new HR system you will be involved in a number of projects from the start!

Main duties will include and not be limited to:-

Working closely with the L&D Manager and DirectorCoordinating and undertaking the administration of the firm s training programmes, including legal technical trainingBooking rooms and organising catering as well as liaising with the audit visual support teamsEnsure rooms are set up for training events Notify delegates of time, place and locationLiaising with internal and external trainers on a regular basisDeal with training related queries from all staff (Support Staff to Senior Partners)Log all training events for SRA/Law Society accreditation purposesProcess invoices for payment and assist with the evaluation of all courses Oversee new fee earner inductions (occasionally taking an active role)Assist with the maintenance of files and IT systemsWork in cohesion with graduate recruitment managersProvide ad-hoc support to the HR team when necessary

To be considered for this position you MUST have the following skills and experience:-

A minimum of 12 months experience co-ordinating professional service training programmes (experience within the legal sector would prove to be a distinct advantage)Ability to assist stakeholders with the design of sessions and finding relevant external speakersExcellent communication skills, comfortable liaising at all levels, and presenting when required (normally introducing key speakers etc)Proven administration skills coupled with in depth knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (experience with any meeting booking room systems an advantage)Ideally degree educated
