Assistant Project Support Worker - 2 posts

You will support our team in delivering positive outcomes for our clients at our Birmingham Mental Health service who are carers of adults and children aged 4-17 with mental health problems supporting them to live independently.This is an excellent opportunity to have direct involvement in the development of a quality services that meets the specific needs of individual clients, and you will be responsible for providing practical support and guidance, and therefore will ideally have experience of working within a care and support environment.
You will need to have the ability to organise yourself in a structured manner, and be able to communicate clearly, while keeping up to date records. You should be client focused, have good organisational and people skills, a strong team player and be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt to situations and case load. Ideally you will hold a qualification in working with children or have a good working knowledge of child protection procedures. As this role will involve travelling and working across Birmingham City you will be required to hold a full current driving licence and have access to a car.
