International Strategic Brand Manager - Davidoff Innovation

Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will contribute in meeting the ambitious 5 years brand objectives via the development and management of strategic key projects for the Davidoff Brand in close cooperation with other Functions, Regions and Markets at senior levels.
The role will mainly focus on developing Davidoff innovation strategy and building the brand innovation pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Global Strategic Brand Manager Davidoff Innovation and Planning in:
Innovation (incl the Gitanes brand):
Implement the Davidoff Innovation Strategy: translate consumer needs into breakthrough relevant innovative projects to support a brand double digit growth objective in the next few years (pipeline filling) working in close cooperation with the GM Innovation Team.Follow the brand innovation process (manage innovation and communication agencies).Implement key projects: develop launch mix, inform and support markets at each key step, steer results to learn, adapt and scale up where necessary.Demand shift development.Support the Gitanes Team for innovative developments.Steering, controlling and work closely with agencies and other external partners.Candidate Essential Requirements:Candidates will have an excellent Marketing background with experience in Strategic Planning or Consumer Research (Agency or FMCG companies) and demonstrate how to best apply it in a valued and commercial manner geared for maximum benefit and results.Excellent and pro-active partnering, great drive for results demonstrated in a previous role.Possess integrity, honesty and a pragmatic approach to challenges that may arise.Excellent conceptual thinking skills as demonstrated in a previous role.Excellent strategic and operational skills with the ability to effectively influence decisions at a senior level as demonstrated in a previous role.Must be self-driven and resilient.Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to easily express oneself across cultures and organisational levels. Proven ability to work and deliver on tight time lines in an increasingly competitive environment as demonstrated in a previous role.Regular travel globally and at short notice when business needs arise. Advanced written and spoken English language skills.Fluency in other European languages would be a definite advantage.Working Relationships:
Internal: Group Marketing, Top Management, Innovation and Research Teams, Sales (Regions and Markets at Senior levels), Manufacturing, Product Development, PCC, Legal and other Key Stakeholders.
