An excellent under graduate placement opportunity has arisen, working for a busy Professional Services office focused on the delivery of IT Software consultancy. This role offers a years' placement to work and develop the following skills under the guidance of a highly skilled BI reporting team:

Setting up integration packages
Developing reports queried from databases
Writing SQL queries
Debugging SQL queries
Writing small applications in vb.net (mainly utilities for internal use)
Managing analysis cubes
Managing internal Time Management systems
Deploying reports to client servers
Testing
Creating Databases
Creating Data Warehouses

At the end of the year the successful under graduate will have developed technical skills within areas such as:

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 & 2008 (incl. Business intelligence studio)
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008
Microsoft Analysis Services
Microsoft Integration Services
Microsoft Reporting Services
Microsoft Office 2007
Microsoft Visual SourceSafe
SharePoint 2007 and possibly 2010

To be considered for this role, you must be studying or have just completed one of the following degree disciplines:

BSc Computing
BSc Computer Science
BSc Business and Computing
BSc Information Systems
