Chill Factore, is a leading real snow attraction located in Manchester, offering a wide variety of snow activities, a beginner slope and a 180m main slope which is the longest indoor slope in the UK. With shops, bars and restaurants it is the perfect place to enjoy a day out in alpine themed surroundings.

Purpose

The purpose of the role is to plan and implement marketing communications campaigns (onsite and off site) in the context of the brand and overall marketing strategy. To measure and evaluate the success of the campaigns and make recommendations to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

Key areas of responsibility

1.Lead, create and execute an integrated marketing communications plan for each season including managing and direct liaison with the media, creative and pr agencies.

2.Plan and execute advertising campaigns (theme, creative execution & media proposals)

3.Define and implement the PR plan

4.Develop and implement reader offers and competitions

5.Manage day to day relationship with creative & media agencies including providing written briefs for all substantive work

6.Plan and execute onsite communication

7.Support in creating an engaging events programme to support business objectives

8.Act as marketing lead on designated products and projects (including writing and developing strategic and tactical plans, monitoring performance, product development etc) to achieve business objectives.

9.To manage and organise any filming and photography opportunities including compiling quotations, liaison with relevant departments and site reccies.

10.Create and execute internal staff communication programme to ensure all relevant Chill Factore staff are aware of marketing activity and understand the part they need to play in delivery

11.Budget tracking responsibility to ensure marketing spend is controlled.

Skills Criteria

5 years marketing communications experience which includes managing and direct liaison with external agencies (media, creative, pr).Experience in creating and executing themed hard-hitting marketing campaigns to drive business performanceProject ownership and responsibility for writing marketing plans to achieve sales targets.Commercially-minded to develop strong links with other businesses to drive customer acquisitionAbility to deliver an excellent guest experienceAbility to learn quickly and work effectively to tight deadlineExcellent attention to detail skillsMarketing Degree or marketing qualification (CIM/IDM)Working experience within the leisure/attraction industry
